When you join article sites where you can earn a little extra income, you will no doubt be eager to get started submitting articles to the sites so that those pennies can start adding up as soon as possible.
Do not be in too much of a hurry!
You do not want to submit work that goes against the guidelines or terms and conditions of the site. You also want to be sure that the work you’ve put effort into and that you submit to the site will bring you the rewards you hope for.
You found an article that highlighted the positive aspects of joining a certain site and the writer might even have disclosed their earnings. Of course you’ll be keen to become a member at that site as soon as possible too.
However, to avoid any possible problems or regrets about joining, it is best to first go through the site, thoroughly:
Once you feel you’ve gone through the site as thoroughly as you can, visit your favorite search engine and do some searches. You’re looking for articles on other sites that describe the site you are planning to join.
Do more than one search and add words to the name of the site, like:
If the first two or three articles you find do not have anything positive to say about the site, don’t give up yet, but at the same time do not be so intent on joining the site that you ignore “warning signals.”
It will help tremendously if you can find sites or blogs that review many extra income opportunities and that have many comments on their posts. Always read the comments. People who are already members of the site in question often make comments on blog posts about that site and you will be able to gauge how many members are happy with the site, and how many are considering leaving the site. Try and determine if the reasons people want to leave the site are valid reasons indicating that the site is not a site that will benefit you in any way.
It may sound like a lot of effort to do research on a site before joining it and submitting articles to it, but it could save you a lot of time in the end. Rather do the research first, then, if happy, join the site and be confident about knowing exactly what to do to make the best of your membership there, rather than struggle to learn “along the way” and risk getting banned from the site for making silly mistakes.
